About Ovacik
Ovacik is a quiet villa area right next to Hisaronu, spread along the foot of Babadag. It sits at the edge of the pine forest with mountain views, away from the bustle of Hisaronu. It is not on the sea; Oludeniz beach is about 5 km downhill. The official starting point of the Lycian Way is in Ovacik, and walkers head out from here towards Faralya.
Accommodation is largely private villas with pools and small apartment hotels. Families who spend the day on the beach and the evening at the villa, couples looking for quiet and walkers make up most visitors. Shops and restaurants are along the main road, and the bars of Hisaronu are within walking distance.
Flat from the airport to Fethiye, then a short winding climb; about 56 km / 55 minutes in total. Villa lanes can be narrow and steep; the car reaches the door of most villas, and on a few lanes the last metres are on foot. Villa signs are not always obvious, so give the complex name with your booking. Oludeniz is 5 minutes away and Fethiye 15.
Airport meet & greet
Antalya Airport has two international terminals (T1 and T2); your driver knows the terminal from your flight number and waits at the arrivals exit with a sign showing your name. Domestic arrivals are met at the domestic terminal exit.
