About Guzelcamli
Guzelcamli is a village about 25 km south of Kusadasi, at the entrance gate of the Dilek Peninsula–Buyuk Menderes Delta National Park. Zeus Cave, where cold mountain water meets the sea, the park’s Icmeler, Aydinlik, Kavakli Burun and Karasu coves, the hiking trails up Mount Samsun and the view across to Samos are its best-known places. It is greener and more nature-focused than Davutlar, and wild horses and boar can be seen in the park.
Accommodation is in small hotels, guesthouses, villas and apartments in summer complexes and boutique properties near the park. Families looking for hiking and clean coves, couples who want to stay away from the crowds, bird and wildlife watchers and long-stay summer residents are typical visitors. The National Park entrance is 5 minutes away, Davutlar 10 minutes and central Kusadasi 25 minutes.
From the airport the route runs via the Izmir–Aydin motorway, Selcuk and the Kusadasi bypass to Davutlar, then along the coast road to Guzelcamli, about 96 km / 95 minutes. The road is flat dual carriageway as far as Davutlar, two-lane after that, with sloping streets inside the village. Hotels and complexes are reached door to door; transfers do not run inside the National Park, but the park entrance can be given as the drop-off. A minibus suits hiking gear and extra luggage. Kusadasi and Davutlar lie on the way.
