About Colakli

Colakli is a coastal village in the Manavgat district about 10 km west of Side, and the first stop in the Side area coming from Antalya. The coast is flat, the beach wide and the sea shallow at the entry; resort hotels line the shore without a break. The village centre lies a little inland around the D400 highway, with a bazaar, supermarkets and restaurants gathered along a few streets. The Friday market in Colakli fills with guests from the surrounding hotels; Evrenseki and Kumkoy follow along the coast to the east.

Accommodation is almost entirely all-inclusive resorts, with a small number of apartments in the village. Thanks to the shallow sea and wide beach it suits families with young children, couples who want to relax at the hotel and larger groups. The ancient city of Side is 15 minutes by dolmus or taxi, Manavgat market 20 minutes and the Aspendos theatre half an hour. Nightlife in the village is limited; most guests go to Side for an evening stroll.

Transfer note

From Antalya Airport, Colakli is reached by a straight road along the D400 in about 60 km / 60 minutes; as the nearest village in the Side area, it also saves time on the return journey. Hotels are reached door to door, with resort gates set back from the highway by a short access road. A minibus-class vehicle is recommended for large family groups. Belek and Bogazkent lie along the way, with Evrenseki, Kumkoy and Side a little further on.
