About Cirali
Cirali is a coastal village at the southern tip of the Kemer district, at the foot of Mount Tahtali. Its beach of roughly three kilometres, a mix of pebbles and sand, is a loggerhead turtle nesting site, so night lighting and sunbed layouts are kept to a minimum. The village itself is a scatter of guesthouses among citrus and pomegranate orchards, with no tall buildings. The southern end of the beach opens onto ancient Olympos, while on the hill to the north lies Yanartas, where gas seeping from the rock has burned for centuries.
Accommodation is in guesthouses with gardens, bungalows and small family hotels; there are no all-inclusive resorts. Couples looking for a quiet shore, walkers, families spending their days on the beach with children and anyone escaping the crowds are the typical visitors. The trout restaurants at Ulupinar, the Tahtali cable car and Adrasan make easy day trips.
From Antalya Airport the D400 coastal road passes Kemer and Tekirova, then the Cirali turn-off near Ulupinar leads down to the sea; the 7 km after the junction is a descent with sharp bends. The whole journey is about 84 km / 80 minutes. Your driver takes you to the guesthouse door; village lanes are narrow and partly unsurfaced, so larger vehicles move slowly. A saloon or minivan is enough for small groups. Kemer is 30 minutes away and the Olympos turn-off 10 minutes.
