About Tekirova
Tekirova is a holiday village south of Kemer, built on the wide bay directly below ancient Phaselis; it is 15 km from Kemer centre. Its shoreline is longer and flatter than the other settlements around Kemer, and the beach is a mix of pebbles and sand. At the northern end of the village lies Phaselis with its three harbours, colonnaded street and aqueduct, and to the north-west the lower station of the Tahtali cable car. Within the village there is a botanical and reptile park known as Ekopark and a small shopping street.
Accommodation is mainly large all-inclusive resorts spread along the coast, with apartments and small hotels in the village as well. Tekirova suits families looking for spacious resorts, groups travelling with children and anyone wanting to combine resort comfort with a visit to an ancient city. Cirali and Olympos are 20–25 minutes away, Kemer 20 minutes and Adrasan 40 minutes.
From Antalya Airport the route takes the city ring road and Konyaalti onto the D400 coastal road; after the Beldibi and Goynuk tunnels, Kemer and Camyuva, the Tekirova turn-off is reached, about 69 km / 70 minutes. Traffic leaving Antalya slows on summer evenings. The resorts stand along the road running parallel to the shore after the junction, and your driver takes you to the hotel entrance. A minibus is recommended for larger families and groups with plenty of luggage. Kemer, Kiris and Camyuva are on the way, with Cirali and Olympos beyond.
