About Kiris
Kiris is a small bay 4 km south of Kemer centre, directly opposite Mount Tahtali. The settlement sits on a narrow flat strip where the pine forest reaches the shore and consists of a few large hotels with a small neighbourhood between them; there is no independent shopping street. The beach is pebbly and, as the bay is sheltered from the wind, the sea is usually calm. From the shore you can see the snow-capped summit of Tahtali and the cable car line, and the seafront path links Kiris with Kemer to the north.
Accommodation is almost entirely large all-inclusive resorts; villa and apartment options are limited. Kiris suits families who holiday within the resort, couples wanting quiet and anyone who likes to reach Kemer's evening bustle in a few minutes. Kemer Marina is 10 minutes away, ancient Phaselis and the Tahtali cable car station 15 minutes, Camyuva 5 minutes.
From Antalya Airport the route takes the city ring road and Konyaalti onto the D400 coastal road, passes through the Beldibi and Goynuk tunnels and beyond Kemer centre reaches the Kiris turn-off, about 58 km / 60 minutes. Traffic leaving Antalya slows on summer evenings. The resorts lie a few hundred metres in from the junction and your driver takes you to the hotel entrance. A minibus is recommended for larger families and groups with plenty of luggage. Kemer is on the way, with Camyuva and Tekirova beyond.
