About Evrenseki
Evrenseki is a small coastal village in the Manavgat district, about 7 km west of Side, between Colakli and Kumkoy. Its shoreline is a continuation of the same flat, fine-sanded beach as its neighbours; behind the resorts lining the shore, the village centre is a few streets between the D400 highway and the sea. A bazaar, supermarket, pharmacy and a few restaurants are gathered along the main street. Evrenseki has no historic site of its own; ancient Side, Manavgat Waterfall and Aspendos are its day-trip destinations.
Accommodation consists of all-inclusive resort hotels and a few small hotels in the village. Being closer to Side than Colakli and quieter than Kumkoy, it suits families with children and couples who put relaxing at the hotel first. Side is 10 to 15 minutes by dolmus, Manavgat market 20 minutes. There is a seafront path for an evening walk in the village; those wanting nightlife go to Kumkoy or Side.
From Antalya Airport to Evrenseki takes about 65 km / 65 minutes along the D400; the road is straight, with a possible slowdown through Serik. Hotels are reached door to door, with resort entrances on short link roads running from the highway down to the shore. Standard minivans are sufficient for families, with a minibus recommended for larger groups. Belek and Colakli lie along the way, with Kumkoy and Side just beyond.
